【款识】“大明嘉靖年制”六字楷书款，应为铸后精修，字体古朴，底款平润有刻痕，拙雅有韵。 【形制】铜炉四方，侈口，敛腹，大方雅致，双螭龙探首口沿，身躯弯曲，十分生动，螭首须眉俱清楚。四随形折足，工艺技术颇为高超。 【皮色】整体金栗玉毫，参差闪烁，皮壳温润，此炉当微温轻盘，假以时日，光彩四溢。 【铜质】铜质发金黄，质地密实，轻叩音色沉稳，确为精美良铜铸之。
