A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF MAITREYA, TIBET, 16th ct., seated in vajrasana on a lotus base with both hands showing the dharmacakramudra, a pair of utpala lotuses rising from the base with one supporting the kundika, wearing dhoti secured with a ribbon knotted at the back, cape draped over his shoulders, jewellery set with turquoise beads, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows running into his nose-bridge, urna set with a turquoise bead, his hair combed in a chignon topped with a stupa secured with a five-leaf tiara and decorated with a pair of pattras, with inventory number BT 107, sealed - Minor wear, few small repairs
