There is a swath of canvas inscribed with the artist's name, possibly his signature, attached to the verso. Provenance: Directly from artist; descended through family. Condition Good condition, canvas has been re-lined. One small area of loss, less than 1/2 inch, to the upper right corner of the figure's head.
