A ceramic tablet fragment with high-relief figure of a crusader(?) holding a heater shield to the left side of the body, wearing a surcoat, gripping the hilt of the sword with the right hand; sword with flared triangular pommel. 83 grams, 80mm (3 1/4"). From the Aldred family private collection; acquired by the vendor's father before 1950. [No Reserve] Fine condition.
