A wooden cupboard door frame and two hinged doors, closing hasp and loop for a peg or lock; the frame painted with rosettes and tendrils, doors with scene of an arch and two opposed female figures, one with a sitar and the other with a two-ended drum (mridangam), each with a canine companion below. 1271 grams, 38cm (15"). Property of a London gentleman; from his father's collection formed in the late 1980s-early 1990s. Fine condition.
