A bronze spearhead with short leaf-shaped blade and square-section midrib, faceted shaft with V-shaped sockets, shank developing to a tapering tang, fastened by bending to a right-angle with knop to the end. See Khorasani, M.M. Arms and Armour from Iran. The Bronze Age to the End of the Qajar Period, Tübingen, 2006. 405 grams, 44.5cm (17 1/2"). Property of a North West London gallery; formerly in a 1980s collection. Fine condition.
