A mixed group of knapped and polished stone axeheads with drilled socket: one with square edge and square butt; one similar with curved edge and round-section butt; one triangular in plan, broken at the socket and with a second socket begun slightly forward and left unfinished. 1.5 kg total, 9.5-11.5cm (3 3/4 - 4 1/2"). Property of a UK gentleman; formerly in an old Stone Age axe collection formed in the 1980s. [3] Fine condition.
