A pair of Chinese textile pictures, each one of a standing scholar or Daoist. One figure standing beside a pair of Cranes, the other figure with an acolyte holding a basket of flowers. Both with two-line inscription, and framed and glazed, overall dimensions of each about 117 x 28 cm (2). Please note that it has not been possible to take either picture from its frame in order to examine the reverse; some areas of damage, wear or soiling extant.
