AN ARCHAISTIC BRONZE CENSER, QING
China, 18th-19th century. The vessel with two circumferential archaistic borders, the body with vertical ribs. Two looped handles with stylized phoenix heads.

Provenance: From the collection of Alexander Popov in Novi Sad, Kingdom of Serbia, acquired between 1900-1920. A copy of an old black and white photo, dating to early 1930s, with the collector’s cabinet, and the present vessel within, is accompanying this lot.
Condition: Fine condition with wear, a few small nicks and traces of use.
