A GILT BRONZE BUDDHA, YUAN DYNASTY
China, 14th century. Buddha is seated in dhyanasana on a two-tiered lotus base and depicting the earth touching gesture (bhumisparsha mudra). Note the elegant detail work to garment and lotus petals.

Condition: Fine condition with wear to gilding and traces of use as expected on a bronze with this age. Unsealed.
