In the foreground of the painting a wide beige path on which just two elegant ladies are strolling, preceded by a small brown and white dog. Sitting on a white bench two other ladies with a small child. On the left side a gentleman in back view with a black hat, who has a music stand in front of him and plays a large harp for the women sitting in front of him and a child. Behind it a high forest with already first brownish discoloured leaves, through which a pond becomes visible with blooming white water lilies. In the distance a hill under a blue cloudy sky.
