View over the calm Canal Grande with two manned boats and a sailing ship, to the well-known city silhouette, with the entrance to St. Mark's Square flanked by the famous columns. Atmospheric reproduction, where the sun sets the house fronts in a warm yellow-reddish light, under the high light blue sky. Picturesquely the boats and houses are partly reflected in the water.
