Decorated with two bands of arabesques interspersed with putti, vases of flowers, and lion's head mascarons beneath a band inscribed in capital letters: "LAVS DEO SEMPER 1654". H 14.1, D 12.7 cm. Weight c. 4.6 kg. 1654. Niederländischer Mörser von 1654 Goldbrauner Bronzeguss mit fein beriebener Patina. Schmalkonisch, mit breitem, glattem Rand und zwei plastischen Delfinhenkeln. Um die Wandungsmitte zwei übereinanderliegende Arabeskenbänder mit geflügelten Putti um Blumenvasen und Löwenmaskarons. Darüber ein Spruchband in Versalien: "LAVS DEO SEMPER 1654". H 14,1, D 12,7 cm.
