Collection of New Year Paintings and Comic Strips of Modern China: Driving Away Three Monsters, Hebei People's Fine Arts Publishing House, 2006 Note: Attached is the book. 27×34.5cm×16 RMB: 380,000-500,000 刘汉宗 1912年生于河北丰南。少年时曾拜董信芳（董辰生之父）学画。从1952年到1991年，先后为北京、河北、天津等地出版社绘制了60多册（套）脍炙人口的优秀连环画及大量年画，是我国连环画界资深画家之一。曾任唐山缸窑磁厂绘画工人，河北唐山《劳动日报》社美术编辑。代表作有长卷《陶瓷史画》，连环画《牛郎织女》等。 Liu Hanzong was born in Fengnan, Hebei in 1912. He learned after Dong Xinfang, Dong Chensheng's father. Being a sophiscated painter, Liu has created a great many comic strips and new year paintings for publishing houses in Beijing, Hebei and Tianjin. He was a painter at Gangyao Porcelain Factory in Tangshan and then served as an art editor at Tangshan Laodong Ribao. Masterpieces are Illustration of Porcelain History, The Cowherd and the Weaving Maid, etc.
