在 20 世纪 50 年代，随图齐入藏的法国摄影师梅尔曾为我们拍摄了丹萨替寺灵塔的珍贵影像。从这些照片中，我们可以在灵塔每一层的折角处都看到一根如此尊一样的护法神像立柱，遍布灵塔周身一匝。此尊头戴五叶冠饰，面庞圆润，额头高广，眉眼上挑，鼻梁挺直，表情肃穆，向世人展现着作为佛教护法的威严和肃穆。上身躯体劲健，肌肉饱满有力，左手自然垂下，持有净瓶，右手上举胸前，结无畏印。另有两手上举，托住莲花宝座。下身身姿自然扭动，着贴体长裙，直立站在莲座之上。整像金色亮丽，量度合理，工艺考究，刻画细腻，其造型特征和人物表现等方面，都具有丹萨替寺灵塔造像的艺术特征。更兼题材新颖，寓意吉祥，期待有缘之人迎请之！
