A substantial domed mamillary jasper stamp seal, pierced for suspension, intaglio image of a scorpion with a symbol atop the stinger; accompanied by a museum-quality impression. 24.8 grams, 33mm (1 1/4"). Ex private London, UK, collection, 1970-1990; seen by Professor Wilfrid George Lambert in the 1990s. Dr Bonewitz notes: 'This seal appears to be a desert surface find - it is sandblasted and exhibits 'desert varnish'.' [No Reserve]
