Lambert, late Professor of Assyriology, University of Birmingham, 1970-1993, which states: Standing pig of red stone 22 x 11 38mm, pierced sideways through back; worn. Syria, c.2800-2500 B.C.. 14.7 grams, 38mm (1 1/2"). Property of a London gentleman; acquired in the 1970s; examined by Professor Wilfrid George Lambert FBA (1926-2011) and accompanied by a signed handwritten scholarly note. [No Reserve]
