A mixed artefact group comprising: an ancient shallow bronze bowl with raised rosette to the centre, calligraphic inscription below the fluted rim, perhaps the name of the maker; a group of later fragments from mainly ceramic opium pipes; a lead-alloy mould for casting; and a short cylinder-shaped agate bead with band of gold-inlaid linear detailing. 478 grams total, 16-155mm (1/2 - 6"). Ex an important Dutch collection; acquired on the European art market in the 1970s. [13]
