A Queen Anne oak cricket table, circa 1710, the top constructed from a 17th century coffer panel, the circular top above a shaped apron, on three turned sectional supports, joined by a turned Y-shaped stretcher, 64cm high, the top 51cm diameter Provenance: Ken & Joyce Adams Antiques, Seend, Wiltshire The Collection of Christopher Jenkins (sold Wooley & Wallis, 3rd October 2018 (£1100) This is a rare example where the joiner has re-purposed 17th century panels for the construction of the top.
