A pair of George II square waiters by David Willaume II, London 1730, with inset serpentine angles, moulded rims and each on four serpentine shaped bracket feet, engraved with armorials, 15.8cm (6 1/4in) wide, 604g (19.45 oz) Condition Report: Hallmarks are well struck and clear. The armorials are very rubbed, suggesting the armorials are old. One slightly wobbles on its feet, the other is stable. Scratches and scuffs commensurate with age and use.
