A George III mahogany serpentine chest of drawers, circa 1780, in the manner of Ince & Mayhew, the shaped top with moulded edge, above four long graduated drawers, the top drawer with a slide and fitted interior incorporating an arrangement of lidded compartments around a central hinged mirror, flanked by fluted canted angles, on shaped bracket feet, 87.5cm high, 100cm wide, 58cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Some old chips and splits. Some fading. Lock to top drawer is a period replacement. No key present, all locks are open. Side handles possibly associated.
