A George II walnut side table, circa 1740, 71cm high, 78cm wide, 49cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Old splits and chips. Of cleaned/polished appearance. Some later blocks to interior of carcass. Later runners to underside of drawer. Metalware appears original. Evidence of old worm to all legs and interior of carcass. Filler has been used to the legs in places to help disguise. Section of replacement timber inset into back of one front foot/leg (it runs approx. 20cm up the leg).
