AN AMPHORA STYLE CERAMIC VASE, 20TH CENTURY of amphora style of tapering ovoid form, four handles formed as twigs, the handles of dark blue, the body decorated with with yellow rose blossoms with a thorn vine, all against a purple ground, stamped 3882 and incised 11 in paste all underbase; overall height: 29 cm (11 3/8 in.) PROVENANCE Doyle, New York, Feb 07, 2007, lot 2386 Acquired at the above by the current owner CONDITION The vase appears in very good condition. Overall surface dust and grime, most notably to the handles. Inspection under UV shows N.B. All lots are sold in as-is condition at the time of sale.
