An inlaid shibuichi three-case inro After Tsuchiya Yasuchika, 19th century Decorated in high relief of gold, silver and bronze with eight variously shaped panels enclosing apparently unrelated subjects, including floral displays, a shell on a beach, an oxherd and a bird over a breaking wave, signed Yasuchika; with a cast metal ojime of an Okina mask, a flower on the reverse; and a kagamibuta netsuke, the wood bowl with an iron plate, decorated in gold nunome with informal kiri (paulownia). 5.7cm (2¼in) high.
