The Property of a Lady 女士藏品 A MUGHAL GREYISH-WHITE JADE BOWL India, 18th century The deep vessel set on a short tapering foot, finely carved to the exterior with narrow chrysanthemum petals terminating in stylised foliate designs, within hatch pattern borders at the rim and above the foot, the semi-translucent stone with dark grey and creamy mottling and striations. 17.2cm (6 3/4in) diam. 注脚 十八世紀 痕都斯坦式灰玉盌 Provenance: Parry Collection, London, and thence by descent 來源:倫敦Parry家族收藏,並由後人保存迄今 The carving of the narrow chrysanthemum petals and stylised foliate terminals closely compare with the designs depicted on a pale green bowl illustrated in Exquisite Beauty.
