A PAIR OF WOOD AND STUCCO EMPIRE CANDELABRA probably Baltic,1st quarter of the 19th century H. 68 cm Black painted and gilt wood and stucco. Two antique female figures on a stepped base with four claw feet, decorated with appliqués of acanthus and rosettes. Three-light top, the candlestick arms made of stuccoed and gilt metal. Some losses, damages due to age. Property of a Thuringian noble family, formerly inventory of Poschwitz Castle.
