VII monogram over signature A. INGRAM, WOOD GREEN, LONDON to centre, with steel spade hands set behind hinged cast brass bezel, with moulded wooden dial surround secured via pegs to the rectangular case incorporating door to right hand side and hinged flap to the curved underside, the side door with two paper labels inscribed 6299, HMOW, King Church St. Rm 74 IIIH, 27.8.24 and H.M.O.W., room 74 B III, 26 4 38 applied to the inside surface.Diameter 40cm (15,75ins) overall, 14.5cm (5.75ins) deep.Provenance: Private collection, East Midlands.A.
