A Chinese reticulated jadeite plaque dating from the 19th century. It comes in a gold pendant setting marked 14K. Both sides of the carving feature Hehe Erxian surrounded by lotus tracery. Dimensions are: 2 3/8 inches in diameter X 1/8 inches thick, 6 cm X 0.3 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The plaque is in overall good condition with slight chipping to the edges. The collector is of Russian descent, but was born in Harbin, China in 1935. Following the end of WWII, her family moved to Shanghai and stayed there until 1952 when they relocated to Hong Kong. The items in the collection were acquired during the family's time in Shanghai from private collections and art auctions.
