A CLOISONNÉ PANEL-INLAID HONGMU SIX-FOLD SCREENLate 19th centuryEach leaf inset with square and rectangular cloisonné panels, variously decorated with mountainous landscapes, birds and animals in flowering gardens and amongst blossoming branches, bats and cranes in flight and Mandarin ducks, the lower shaped panels with Buddhist emblems, the reticulated leaves finely carved with scrollwork and cusped gourd vine terminals, two reticulated trefoil screen ends surmounted by Buddhist lions.Each leaf 147.5cm (58in) high x 26.2cm (10 1/2in) wide (3).For further information on this lot please visit theCondition Report: General rub and wear, discoloration to the wood. Some small dents. Some of the frames or plaques are notpletely fixed. One framed plaque with tape to the back, other small traces of glue.
