A LARGE MARBLE AND BURR WOOD INSET HARDWOOD CHAIRQing DynastyThe seat back with a large central marble inset panel flanked by a pair of burr wood panels, the reticulated arched arms densely carved with a profusion of gnarledlingzhi branches, the woven cane seat within a shaped frame, above carved beaded scrollwork aprons, the legs with everted upper sections, terminating in raised foliate motif feet.106.6cm (42in) high x 70.5cm (27 3/4in) wide x 55.5cm (21 7/8in) deep max.For further information on this lot please visit theCondition Report: Some areas of damage to the cane seating. The left arm with a break running across and 5cm x 4cm section chipped off to the exterior side. The rear left leg with a 6cm long triangular surface section of wood chipped off. The right arm with a crack or repaired break running across and small chip to a carved extremity. The wood section at the top of the marble panel is loose. Some gapping between the joins.
