Taking case design to a new level with its geometrically intricate combination of grade 5 titanium and anti-reflective sapphire crystal, Horological Machine No.9 has a thrilling presence on the wrist, exuding the feeling of power and speed, it perfectly encapsulates the ethos of the brand. The present watch is presented in superb condition and is offered with full set of accessories.This incredible timepiece was made in two versions in titanium named ‘Road’ and ‘Air’, each model was produced in a limited edition of 33 pieces. The present watch is the ‘Air’ version, it has an aviation-style dial and NAC-finish movement. Embodying the aerodynamic style of mid-20th century aircraft such as the De Havilland Venom and water resistant to 3ATM (30 metres), it sports a turbine-shaped crown and an impressively sleek yet complex case shape reminiscent of a jet engine. The brushed and polished surfaces create a sense of gravitas and mystery, the five specially shaped sapphire crystals entice the viewer to admire the complicated in-house manual-winding 52 jewel movement with twin balance wheels beating independently on each side of the watch. The central body contains the ‘gearbox’ of the HM9 engine with a planetary differential that averages the output of both balances to provide one stable reading of the time. The hours and minutes are read from a vertically positioned dial on the central section of the watch.
