A MING-STYLE BRONZE FIGURE OF ZHENWUChina, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). The Daoist deity is shown seated on a base, with the left hand resting on his knee, the index finger pointed, and the right hand resting on his jade belt. He is dressed in voluminous robes with incised hems, the face is serene with long goatee and brushed-back hair.Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and casting flaws as well as small nicks here and there.Provenance: German private collection.
