Ptolemaic Period, Ca. 332-30 BC A rectangular cartonnage panel section with painted border above and below, procession of five seated figures comprising: Isis wearing throne headress, behind her Horus the Elder wearing combined crown denoting him as king of Egypt; followed by Shu, Anubis and Wepwawet, all holding symbolic ankhs. The ankh symbol sometimes referred to as the key of life or the key of the nile is representative of eternal life in Ancient Egypt.
