Ca. 100-200 AD A mould-made terracotta oil lamp featuring a recessed discus decorated with a standing, dynamic figure of a gladiator. To the back, circular handle with perforation, smooth sidewalls. Linear, repetitive patterns decorate the shoulder before the plain nozzle. Cf. Walters H. B. "Catalogue of the Greek and Roman Oil Lamps in British Museum".
