Greece, Classical Period, ca. 5th century BCE. A diminutive cup with a horizontal loop handle and disc foot; it is painted in the black figure style, with acanthus leaf motifs around its body and a black interior. Also, Magna Graecia, Canosa, ca. 4th to 3rd century BCE. A ceramic pomegranate, painted in the distinctive Canosan style with a white undercoat and remains of pink and blue pigment.
