A petite limestone fertility figure, highly abstract depicting a seated woman with enlarged, voluptuous breasts and thighs as if emphasizing her fruitfulness. Exaggerated female forms from this region are some of the earliest religious artifacts that we know of. Recent research suggests that they may have been made by pregnant women inspired by looking down at their bodies.
