**Originally Listed At $600** East Asia, China, Han Dynasty, ca. 206 BCE to 220 CE. A fine pair of pottery attendant figures characteristic of the Han Dynasty, each wearing a knee-length robe and embellished by powdery white pigments. Nearly identical, the attendants stand with legs together, each placing their right hand on their belly as their left arm rests parallel to their body. A bulbous headdress or coiffure caps each of their heads. Size (both about the same): 3" W x 12.5" H (7.6 cm x 31.8 cm) Provenance: ex-Nancy and Dr. E.F.
