A graceful pottery jar presenting a bulbous body that gently tapers to a brief neck and a flared rim, all sitting upon a flared, pedestal foot. Enveloped in a rich hue of black, the elegant vessel is incised with a series of parallel and horizontal striations just below the neck. Note the impressive earthen and mineral deposits that naturally embellish the surface of this ancient dish!
