Rectangular carving in the flattened shape of a stylized cicada with broad angular head and pointed fins, the frontside with finely incised cicada relief, the head with large protruding eyes, fine grooves delineating the head and deeper grooves for the wings, verso with incised lines outlining the animal’s abdomen
Shape: Rectangular shape with rounded edges, the flattened frontside with incised and cut relief, at the tip of the head two drilling holes for the mounting, the slightly domed verso with finely incised lines
Dimensions: 4,4 cm (height), 2,5 cm (width), 0,9 cm (depth)
Condition: Good condition consistent with its age, minor scratches as typical traces of use, smooth hand patina
