Silk with multi-colored silk threads, backside silk lining. China, around 1900

This bright red colored silk collar for a boy’s robe is richly embroidered with fruits, flowers, insects, fish, birds and an appealing wave pattern. At the margin, it is framed by a black silk hem.

Condition: Good condition, some small holes and staining to inside lining
