【款识】大明永乐年施.地藏王菩萨为八大菩萨之一，密宗又称之为悲愿金刚、与愿金刚或金刚幢，因其安忍不动如大地，静虑深密如秘藏，故称为地藏。在释迦佛入灭以后，弥勒未生之前，地藏菩萨自誓必度尽六道众生，始愿成佛，众生不度，誓不成佛。因此，在八大菩萨中，只有地藏王菩萨会出现罗汉相，而在造像中，地藏王菩萨的雕像大多数是罗汉造型。本尊明代地藏王菩萨运用了高超的雕塑工艺，将地藏王菩萨的神韵表现的十分到位。菩萨为比丘相，表情沉静，额际宽阔，嘴角内敛，笑意含蓄。着通肩式袈裟，双手置于双腿之上，全跏趺端坐，袈裟衣袍自然飘下，风格写实，行云流水，富有质感。菩萨铸造精良，比例匀称，整饬精确，工艺精湛，通体鎏金，金水一流，丰腴莹润，保存完好，极具艺术性和收藏价值。
