A Chinese lanyao red glazed bowl , Kangxi, with veined and mottled glaze save for the base applied with a crackled pale celadon, the underside of the foot rim white, labels for Radcliffe Collection label 'G1' and BADA, 22.5cm diameter Provenance: Major Edward Copleston Radcliffe (1898-1967) collection and listed in the family archive, 'G1', as purchased by Major Radcliffe, from Bluett & Sons in 1938, for £7-10s-0d, but the Bluetts archive records as sold Sotheby's July 9th, 1942, lot 18 (part lot), from the collection of Group Captain W.
