A JAPANESE SATSUMA VASE BY YABU MEIZAN MEIJI ERA, 19TH CENTURY The tall body decorated with a continuous design of swallows flying amongst wisteria, the flowers and vines trailing down the side of the vase, the petals painted in slightly raised enamels and with details highlighted in gilt, the rim embellished with formal scrolling tendrils and flowerheads, the base sealed Yabu Meizan in gilt, 24.3cm.
