A RARE GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF PRAJNAPARAMITA, NEPAL, EARLY MALLA PERIOD, 13th/14th ct., seated in lalitasana on a lotus base with her right foot resting on a lotus flower, her principle hands showing the dharmacakramudra and both others in probably abhayamudra and holding lotus supporting the remnants of the manuscript, wearing sari secured with a belt, its belt-hook set with semi-precious stones, jewellery inlaid with stones, her face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below slightly arched eyebrows running into the nose-bridge, urna adorning her fore-head, smiling lips, her hair combed in a chignon covered with a crown topped with a half-vajra and secured with a tiara set with beads, with inventory number BN 22 - Minor wear, small old repair to base at the reverse, attributes partly lost
