A SMALL GILT BRONZE OF BUDDHA, QIANLONG
China, 1736-1795. Buddha is shown with the dharmacakra mudra seated in dhyanasana on a two-tiered lotus base. The incision work is extremely fine for such a small figure, which makes it a rare example.

Provenance: Hungarian private collection. By repute acquired before 1980.
Condition: Superb condition with only minor wear. Sealed.
