来源：台湾私人珍藏 参阅：清 青玉盖炉，北京故宫博物院藏 本品以整块和阗白玉雕琢而成，玉质肥润，洁净匀称，工料上佳。宫廷此类玉炉多见青白玉、青玉作品，多因材治玉，大块玉料难免绺裂棉絮，上等白玉颇为难得，尺寸大者更是凤毛麟角，如本品制作器皿者当为皇家御用，其工料成本耗费巨大，由于当时工艺技术限制，掏膛所出玉料过于散碎只能尽皆废弃，非民间所能承受。本品方身，下身收敛，方形足，斜方形莲瓣纹盖，炉身四面各雕一兽面纹铺首，近足处饰变形莲瓣纹。四方形炉在清宫玉器中较为少见，其器形摹古创新，却严谨归正，朴拙唯美。器身上高浮雕琢刻精致纤巧，与传统玉质鼎炉风格相异，为乾隆宫廷仿古铜器作品而加以创新，颇具艺术及收藏价值。
