圆形，圆钮。圆钮座。座外九乳钉间隔篆书“宜子孙”三字铭文。其外两周窄凸棱之间饰一圈缠枝纹。主题纹饰为七乳钉间隔青龙、白虎、朱雀、玄武、独角兽等纹饰。边缘纹饰为三角锯齿纹和缠枝纹。七乳间的瑞兽与羽人用线雕的方法塑造，镜缘及缠枝纹带用减地平雕技法表现，显示了铸镜大师的高超技艺与艺术表现水平，从而使此镜更显光彩照人，更具艺术感染力。此类镜主要流行于东汉时期。此镜版模清晰，动物形象惟妙惟肖，生动逼真，线条飘逸，纹饰华丽，内容丰富，铸造精良，实乃收藏佳品。
