A George II mahogany tea table, circa 1750, possibly Irish, 73cm high, 81cm wide, 38cm deep Condition Report: Marks, scratches and abrasions throughout comensurate with age and use Some old chips and splits. Some old losses and some repairs. Most noticeable losses are to veneer adjacent to the hinged element of the rear frieze. Some natural fading, most noticeably to the top. Sympathetic waxing by an experienced restorer would restore colour and enliven the surface without significant work or expense. The handle is original. Old worm damage. This is to a fairly minor extent and mainly only visible to the rear frieze and to a lesser extent in other areas. Please refer to images for visual reference to condition.
