合金铜西藏西部增长天王，佛教护法四大天王之一，居于须弥山南面的善见城，守护南瞻部洲的众生，能降伏邪魔，增长善根，为护法之善神。其形象常为身着穿甲胄，手握宝剑，以保护佛法不受侵犯。此尊造像面容方阔，手持金蛇宝剑，为其重要辨识标志。体型魁伟劲健，头戴宝盔，身着铠甲，足穿战靴，表现出护法威风凌凌之感，如意坐姿于宽大单层覆莲瓣上，圈珠纹精细，时代特征明显。造像材质为铜合金，铜质古沉，其特殊的铜质，加上宽大而有辨识性的莲瓣，略有尼泊尔造像的韵味，故推断此件作品应为十三世纪时期藏西阿里所制作之造像风格。整体给人以古拙之感，然细微处亦一丝不苟，是一件值得玩味的早期天王像。
