German School, early 19th century Still lifes of pots, baskets and vegetables a pair, gouache 23.5 x 17.5cm (2) Condition report: Craquelure to all of the still life areas, including flaking and paint losses. The card is stiff and bowed on both. Lots of surface scuffs and abrasions to each. Lots of small pale spots across both, possibly damp. Lefthand still life: Repaired damaged centre top. Some hard scratches above the central pot, and in the lower right corner. Righthand still life: Spots and dots of repaired damage in the lower right quarter. Neither seen outside of frames.
